Job Description:
- Broker fixed income securities interbank on a matched principal basis.
- Manage existing client relationships and develop new client relationships.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence.
- Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.
- Keep up to date with the company's lending protocols.
- Reconcile credit files and identify discrepancies and variances.
- Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Extensive experience of Credit sales or as a Fixed Income Broker with a focus on Asian Credit.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, bonds, credit spreads, interest rates, and FX.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have the required SFC Type 1 license or be willing to take requisite exam.
- Fluency in English. Additional Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese or other Asian languages a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Ability to quickly adapt and respond to changing market conditions.
