My client is a leading bank with a proven track record of success and a strong presence in the global market and are seeking a talented and motivated Director of Corporate Sales to spearhead their sales strategies and drive revenue growth in the German-speaking region.
As the Director of Corporate Sales, you will play a crucial role in leading our sales team and expanding our market share in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and corporate objectives in the German-speaking market.
- Building and managing a high-performance sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Establishing strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analysing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborating closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Preparing regular sales reports and presenting performance updates to the executive team.
- Contributing to the development of sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Traveling as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company at conferences.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate sales management.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and a track record of successfully leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and expanding market presence in the German-speaking region.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
