An international life insurance group is looking for add a Sr. Actuary, EBS to their Reinsurance division to provide er and oversight of the actuarial functions related to EBS reporting across multiple lines of business. This role can be in NYC, Hartford, Charlotte, Bermuda and possibility for remote. Please apply if interested in learning more!
Responsibilities:
- Management of end-to-end actuarial reporting and valuation for life and annuity liabilities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting under EBS
- SME on Bermuda EBS regulation
- Product oversight will focus on Annuity business, specifically FIA, FA and Payout annuities.
- Accountable for EBS attribution analysis and explaining key drivers of quarterly changes in assets, liabilities and surplus
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience (i.e. valuation, modeling, liability management and risk management)
- Subject Matter Expert in EBS
- Knowledge on General Account liabilities is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
