Operational Risk Director - Collections
Our client, one of the world's most prestigious Credit Card providers, is looking to hire an experienced Director of Operational Risk to provide oversight of Collections. The successful candidate will report into the firm's Chief Operational Risk Officer, having oversight of all Collections operations, providing credible advice and challenge to lines of defense and Senior stakeholders focusing on the enhancement of the existing framework.
The Operational Risk Director will be responsible forโฆ
- Establishing strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the firm ensuring Operational Risk remains valued
- Establishing processes to ensure credible challenge and oversight
- Monitoring the efficacy of internal controls
- Assessing current and emerging operational risks to all business activities proactively ensuring mitigation processes are established and implemented
- Issues management including developing KRI/KPI and action plans
The Operational Risk Director should have the following qualificationsโฆ
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with 8 years' experience gained in an operational risk seat within a large Consumer Financial Services firm within Collections
- Experience of managing a large Consumer Bank's or Credit Card firm's Operational Risk oversight framework for Collections is strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills
