The client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and is one of the largest banks in Canada by market capitalization. They are looking for a Java developer to join one of their most elite teams, their ETF market making team. Please not this is a full time direct hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test highly performant, low latency software components for ETF pricing and quoting
- Develop an understanding of existing solutions and identify improvements to optimize performance and maintain low latency so that the software is capable of handling market volatility
- Use new technologies and approaches with improvement always in mind
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience with Core Java
- 2-4 years experience with Linux systems
- Exposure to C++
- Nice to have: experience within the finance industry
- Experience with automated testing tools
