Summary:
Our client is a major international energy firm based in Düsseldorf, operating in multiple countries worldwide. To ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, they are currently seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager with a focus on Cybersecurity and Access Management.
Responsibilities:
The IT Audit Manager will report to the Head of Internal Audit and will be responsible for overseeing the Cybersecurity and Access Management functions of the company's IT systems. The primary responsibilities of the IT Audit Manager will include:
- Developing and implementing IT audit plans: The IT Audit Manager will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit to develop comprehensive IT audit plans that cover the Cybersecurity and Access Management aspects of the company's IT systems.
- Conducting IT audits: The IT Audit Manager will lead and conduct IT audits to assess the effectiveness of Cybersecurity and Access Management controls. This will include reviewing policies, procedures, and controls related to information security, data protection, access management, and other relevant areas.
- Reporting and presenting findings: The IT Audit Manager will prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations for corrective actions. The IT Audit Manager will also present these findings to senior management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborating with stakeholders: The IT Audit Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external auditors, to ensure that audit findings are properly understood, addressed, and remediated.
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments: The IT Audit Manager will stay abreast of industry developments and best practices related to Cybersecurity and Access Management to ensure that IT systems are aligned with the latest standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT auditing, preferably in a large organization or consulting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and Access Management frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, etc.) are highly desirable.
