Company Summary: Our client is a multi-line insurance corporation that has been in business for over 50+ years. They are looking to add a Commercial Field Underwriter to their growing team.
Location: There is significant travel required in this role, you will have a company car to foster effective agency relations (in the Pittsburgh, PA or Lancaster, PA market or surrounding area).
Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities include underwriting tasks for their middle market business
- Agency management/ managing agency performance.
- Executing plans for growth and profitability
- Collaborating with Territory Sales Managers
- Building business relationships/ clientele
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of commercial multi-lines underwriting experience; designations preferred
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Self-starter; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Drivers License
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
