A large global real estate investment management company with a $20 billion portfolio is looking for a candidate with 5-10 years of relevant institutional real estate experience including experience in real estate asset management. The candidate will focus on the acquisition, asset management, re-positioning and development of commercial and residential properties. The position is hybrid, but will require commuting to the San Francisco office several times a week.
The VP Asset Manager will be responsible for:
- Support the West Coast team in all asset management functions related to the existing portfolio of commercial and residential investments
- Gathering market data across each of the primary markets in the West Coast
- Lead negotiations on leases, construction management agreements and ancillary agreements with oversight from senior members of the West Coast team.
- Prepare Excel asset management, valuations and cash flow models.
The VP Asset Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business or Economics
- 5-10 years of relevant institutional real estate investment and asset management preferably on the West Coast.
- Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals and procedures
- Periodic travel to West Coast markets as needed.
