A leading global financial services firm and investment bank is looking to hire within its risk management function, in a pivotal group that functions across business units and acts as a strategic advisor to the Board in protecting the business from risk exposure. This team works across credit, market, liquidity, operational and model risk in their efforts to mitigate risk. This specific position will sit within Risk Analysis and Reporting, which is a critical component to firm risk management. This person will be responsible for performing detailed risk analysis, creating comprehensive risk reporting, and designing and implementing strategic reporting solutions for the business. Located in New York City.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing and implementing the automated reporting processes as well as analytical/visualization dashboard for managing and monitoring risk across FRM
- Evaluating existing reports, processes and analytical tools and identifying gaps and areas for improvement
- Leading projects in the design and implementation of innovated solutions for risk reporting
- Working with bother business groups, business analysts, and IT to identify solutions for external and internal requests
- Working with regulators and internal audit to remediate gaps
What We Need From You:
- Experience and expertise in data extraction and manipulation, report automation, data visualization tools (specifically Power BI)
- At least 5 years of work experience in reporting and data analytics, process automation, and interactive report development
- Relevant experience working in a financial services/banking environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Risk Management experience is ideal, especially in Liquidity Risk
- We are not looking for business analysts in this position
