The client I am working with is a growing Energy Trading shop in the Calgary area focused on speculative trading in both U.S. and Canadian Natural Gas and Power markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop profitable and effective strategies to trade speculative Power, Gas, or Oil
- Develop and manage fundamental analytical models
- Work with team to develop new and innovative trade strategies
- Provide both in depth fundamental and quantitative market analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Economics, Finance, Engineering or Technical degree preferred) *advanced Degree preferred*
- At least 6 years in a risk taking role
- Experience working within a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund
- Proven successful trading history
