Responsibilities:
- Leverage technical knowledge to build and maintain technology solutions for the risk management infrastructure in order to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Responsible for the valuation process by maintaining a high level of integrity of the valuation policies and procedures, including unchanged prices, price challenges, significant price fluctuations, fair-value securities, to back testing, etc.
- Produce and document risk reports and financial models in a wide range of topics tailored to the Organizations investment strategies and business needs.
- Assist with liquidity risk, counterparty risk, leverage, and concentration monitoring.
- Assess large data sets to analyze and report on new risk exposures, which may include regular/monthly reports and ad-hoc requests.
- Work cross-functionally and support various teams with reporting and findings.
- Work closely with Senior Analyst to provide support for valuation-based request and address them independently.
- Assist the CRO for Valuation and Risk Committee, board meetings, and due diligence calls, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.), Finance, Mathematics
- Programming expertise in one or more of the following languages: Python and SQL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications. Superior Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and solutions as required.
