We are currently representing a leading global AIFM company in the search for a senior compliance officer in Luxembourg. Our renowned client has over 2,500 employees sitting across more than 35 offices in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
The Candidate
- More than 5 years of involvement in various positions focusing on risk management and compliance for asset managers.
- Possess an extensive level of professional qualifications related to regulated activities of AIFM.
- Proficient understanding of Luxembourg's regulatory framework concerning AIFMs, including expertise in AML & CTF.
- In-depth familiarity with pertinent regulatory prerequisites and industry benchmarks.
- Prior exposure to regulatory affairs with preference for experience involving the CSSF.
The Role
- Monitor compliance by conducting regular risk assessments, tests, and generating reports for senior management, highlighting issues and corrective actions.
- Maintain a compilation of key regulations governing AIFM operations.
- Educate staff on compliance matters and offer guidance on related queries.
- Manage Compliance Charter, Policies, Procedures, and Monitoring Plan.
- Prepare and submit compliance and AML-CTF reports to regulatory bodies periodically.
