A consumer bank looking for a Senior Analyst to drive the Auto Collections Analytics function. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and conveying collections performance for the auto portfolio and working to design segmentation and operational treatment strategies to drive loss performance improvement. Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant analytics experience, preferably in collections analytics in the auto product, knowledge of operational analytics, and proficiency in SAS/SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct adhoc analytics to formulate new strategies and be a subject matter expert that advises our businesses on how to enhance loss performance
- Prepare and present collections performance findings and action items to leaders in Strategies, Collections, Credit and Product
- Conceptualize and oversee deployment enhancements to improve collections, repossessions and expenses
- Maintain and enhance robust performance tracking and reporting
- Work closely with the collections and repossession operational teams to effectively diagnose performance drivers and propose optimal improvements
- Partner with Credit Risk and Auto Product teams to understand financial impacts
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in collections analytics and/or credit risk analytics
- 1-3+ years of experience in the Auto product
- SAS / Enterprise Guide / SQL or other data mining experience
- Strong statistical background and experience in measuring operational strategies
- Strong organization and project management skills and the ability to work with various internal stakeholders
- Strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills coupled with advanced MS Office skills particularly with PowerPoint
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels and functions
- Able to thrive and prioritize in a changing environment
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative study preferred (Math, Finance, Science etc.)
