An innovative health plan is looking to add a Senior Associate to it's Actuarial & Analytics team. In this role, you will report directly into the Executive Director, Actuarial & Analytics and provide key support in the production of data and tools for consultants and Plan staff.
The Senior Associate has the option to be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States
Responsibilities of Actuarial Consultant:
- Analyze healthcare claims, member, and provider data for consultant data submissions, repricing, and network analyses
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and internal experts in the deployment of a machine learning roadmap
- Establish modeling and data strategies to pinpoint anomalies in financial performance, data trends, and drivers of cost performance
- Enrich and transform data into actionable information to support strategic goals, initiatives, and product roadmaps
Qualifications of Actuarial Consultant:
- FSA or ASA credentials
- 5+ years of health actuarial experience
- 3+ years of experience in performing quantitative data analysis, predicitve modeling, and/or trend driver analysis
- Experience with Excel, SQL, SAS, to perform statistical analysis
- Experience with R, Tableu, or VBA is preferred but not required
- Experience with machine learning is a plus
