We are presenting a boutique Private Equity shop that support medium-sized companies in the implementation of their goals with capital since 2011. They invest in medium-sized companies, mainly in German-speaking countries and invest up to 100 Million per ticket.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent identification and analysis of target markets and companies for potential acquisitions; Development of investment theses
- Modelling and evaluation of new investment opportunities as well as development of transaction structuring
- Implementation and coordination of transactions, as well as independent assumption of individual work packages within the investment appraisal
- Management of resources, external consultants and financial service providers; Accompaniment of all contract negotiations until conclusion
- Active support of the growth strategy of our portfolio companies, e.g. through the implementation of value enhancement programs and the targeted search for acquisitions
- Preparation and implementation of exit processes
Key Skills and Requirements
- Very good academic degree in economics, mathematics or engineering from a renowned university or business school
- 2+ years of professional experience in the areas of transaction consulting, investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity or auditing, gladly supplemented by internships during your studies
- Broad and deep knowledge in the areas of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow analysis, company valuation and financial modelling
- Excellent analytical skills in evaluating investment opportunities and business models
- Hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment of working with medium-sized entrepreneurs
- Strong ability to work in a team, high level of initiative and independence
- Business fluent German and English skills
