We are looking for an Institutional Salesperson/Business Development Manager (with focus on Equities) for our client who are a leading integrated wealth management platform in India.
Our client is a one-stop shop that offers an integrated suite of services for asset managers across various asset classes. They provide India Access, Securities Custody & Clearing, Equities Research & Execution Services, and Back Office Support.
Their goal is to build long-term relationships with clients by providing objective advice, operational support, and addressing their investment needs.
Clients include Asset Managers, Proprietary Trading firms and Hedge funds.
They prioritise state-of-the-art infrastructure, differentiated research, solid algorithmic capabilities, execution platform, and support services to ensure maximum value for their clients
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Singapore.
The Salesperson will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including prospecting and generating leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. The Salesperson will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their investment needs, and providing appropriate solutions. Additionally, the Salesperson will collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless execution of services and meet client expectations.
This role focuses on the building and maintenance of relationships with a wide range of institutional clients in the Asia region, providing these clients with access to India markets.
Qualifications
The client is looking for someone who has strong sales and negotiation skills as well as knowledge of financial products, with experience working with institutional clients (mainly Hedge Funds, HFTs).
Candidates who can speak Mandarin and have experience in institutional equity sales are highly preferred.
