Position Overview: The Head of Real Estate Investments will be responsible for spearheading our investment strategies, with a focus on converting real estate and land banking opportunities into structured financial products. This role requires a deep expertise in real estate development, investment structuring, and attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from target markets including China, Korea, and the Middle East. The successful candidate will bring over 10 years of experience and a proven track record in managing and executing high-profile real estate investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive investment strategies for real estate projects, with a particular emphasis on opportunities from China, Korea, and the Middle East.
- Translate real estate and land banking opportunities into structured financial products that maximize investor value.
- Lead and manage township projects and other large-scale developments, ensuring successful delivery and execution.
- Serve on the Investment Committee, providing strategic guidance and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Structure complex investment deals and ensure they are aligned with both company objectives and investor expectations.
- Engage with and attract foreign investors, leveraging your network and expertise to secure significant investments.
- Oversee the execution of investment deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate investment, development, or related fields.
- Extensive background in translating real estate and land banking into financial products.
- Demonstrated experience in deal structuring and managing large-scale investment projects.
- Strong track record in attracting FDI and executing successful investment deals.
- Knowledge of investment dynamics and regulatory environments in China, Korea, and the Middle East.
- Prior experience on an Investment Committee is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with high-net-worth investors and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or China, with a solid understanding of local investment climates.
- Singaporean or experienced professional from Southeast Asia or China, open to relocation to Phnom Penh.
