Compliance Officer (VP)
My client is leading Private Bank and Wealth Management Firm and I am recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance Vice President to join the team in Singapore. You will be given the autonomy to lead and spearhead the new Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring program for the business and you will be working closely with senior stakeholders within the region.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Compliance Officer (VP)
- Oversee the implementation of all Compliance Monitoring framework and ensure that they are in line with the MAS requirements
- Provide advisory on the Regulatory Compliance - this includes Banking Act, MAS Notices, SFA and FAA etc
- Liaise and coordinate with MAS on all reporting requirements and submission as well as addressing any queries
- Conduct Compliance reviews and ensure that all the Compliance issues are identified
- Identity gaps and remediate gaps in the Regulatory and Compliance Monitoring framework
Qualifications and Accreditations
- Graduate with a degree from reputable universities
- Strong background across Regulations such as Banking Act, SFA, FAA, FATCA
- Compliance Monitoring and Regulatory experience preferred
- A minimum of 8 years compliance experience within Compliance in a Private Banking environment
- Self-motivated, meticulous and able to multitask
- Proficient in written and spoken Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking head office counterparts
