Position Overview:
One of the world's leading insurers is looking to hire on a new catastrophe risk analyst to their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of perils using RMS and/or AIR, working closely with the SVP of Catastrophe. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize technical expertise to perform catastrophe risk modeling.
- Support internal model development for company initiatives and contribute to solution-oriented projects.
- Estimate potential losses for various scenarios and assist in risk management as well as analysis activities.
- Evaluate model performance through model validation to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Experience Required:
- Experience in catastrophe risk modeling with a proven ability to adapt and apply expertise across various functions.
- Proficiency in SQL, GIS, Excel, RMS and/or AIR.
- Strong skills is research, problem-solving, and analysis.
Educational Background:
- Masters degree in relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
