Responsibilities:
- Screening and conducting due diligence on private equity investment opportunities
- Performing in-depth research and financial analysis on companies and assets
- Assisting with the preparation of due diligence materials, screening and investment committee memos
- Interacting with external parties, such as industry experts and investment bankers, as well as with other areas of the firm internally, to enhance due diligence insights and identify new opportunities
- Monitoring and reporting on firm's existing investments through regular interaction with operating managers, attending annual meetings of holding firms, reviewing quarterly financials, and performing portfolio analysis
Requirements:
- Must have excellent academic credentials (both undergraduate school and GPA)
- At least 4 years of top-tier investment banking and/or private equity experience
- Must be ranked near the top of your class with exceptional quantitative skills
- Must have strong judgement, critical thinking and written skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
- Must show initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving; demonstrated experience in conducting research and interacting with others to develop solutions
- Must have ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail
- Must have team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
