They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Restructuring/Special Situations Investment Banking team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for helping companies navigate complex financial situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support restructuring and special situations engagements.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
- Perform due diligence and industry research to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Support senior team members in developing and executing restructuring strategies.
- Assist in the negotiation and execution of restructuring transactions, including debt and equity financing, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, special situations, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
