We are working with a large trust company in Hong Kong, hiring a Senior Manager to lead their Client Accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of Hong Kong client accounting services, maintaining high service standards.
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of all financial reports prepared by the client accounting teams.
• Review complex financial reports as necessary.
• Maintain close communication with the Senior Management to ensure timely allocation of resources.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax accountants, and clients as needed.
• Manage all internal and external client accounting deadlines for Hong Kong.
• Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management regarding client accounting tasks, deadlines, and progress.
• Oversee key performance indicators, staff performance appraisals, and development of client accounting team members, including identifying training requirements.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including vPoint database management and workflow monitoring.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably within an audit firm, bank, or trust/corporate service-related practice.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proven track record of managing a team of accounting professionals.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin Chinese is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
