Job Title: Performance Improvement & Strategic Growth (Mid- Senior Level)
Location: Chicago, New York, Miami

Position Overview:
Our client, a prestigious restructuring consulting firm, is seeking talented and results-driven professionals of Performance Improvement & Strategic Growth to join their team. This mid-senior level position is ideal for an experienced management consultant, private equity professional, or investment banker with a strong background in corporate operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping clients optimize their performance, drive growth, and navigate operational transformations. The role requires a mix of strategic thinking, operational insight, and strong client management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Improvement:

  • Lead diagnostic assessments of client operations to identify inefficiencies, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and execute performance improvement strategies aimed at cost reduction, operational efficiency, and enhanced profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership teams to align improvement initiatives with overarching business and strategic goals.
  • Manage the execution of performance programs, ensuring measurable outcomes and high client satisfaction.

2. Strategic Growth (Organic & Inorganic):

  • Advise clients on organic growth strategies such as market expansion, product innovation, and customer acquisition.
  • Lead inorganic growth initiatives, guiding clients through mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures. This includes supporting due diligence and managing integration efforts.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify and act on emerging opportunities for growth.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to help clients achieve balanced, long-term growth while addressing short-term restructuring needs.

3. Operational Transformation:

  • Lead operational transformation projects that drive business agility, scalability, and efficiency during restructuring or change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients to optimize core business processes, introduce new business models, and leverage technology to improve operational performance.
  • Guide clients through organizational change, ensuring they adapt to new strategic goals and operational challenges.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of transformation initiatives, managing both client expectations and project outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or similar high-performance roles with a focus on business strategy, operational improvement, and growth.
  • Solid corporate experience with a focus on operational management, business development, or strategy execution.
  • Strong expertise in both organic (e.g., market expansion, innovation) and inorganic (e.g., M&A, partnerships) growth strategies.
  • Proven track record of leading performance improvement initiatives, operational transformations, and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business situations and develop actionable, strategic solutions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, while juggling multiple priorities and driving results for clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, etc.).
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation or strategic growth initiatives in a corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with turnaround frameworks, restructuring processes, and financial distress scenarios is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of operational efficiency methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement tools.
