Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join the Restructuring Investment Banking team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for helping companies achieve their strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support restructuring and turnaround initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
- Perform due diligence and industry research to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and execute restructuring strategies.
- Support the negotiation and execution of restructuring transactions, including debt and equity financing, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
