Position Overview: Our client are seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage human resources operations at their Hong Kong office. Our client is a digital asset management firm with a variety of business lines including market making and quant fund services.
This role's responsibilities include recruitment, compensation and benefits, tax filings, visa processing, onboarding, offboarding, and other essential HR functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interviews.
- Optimise recruitment channels and collaborate with department heads to meet hiring needs.
- Implement best practices to enhance the candidate experience.
2. Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires, including training and orientation.
- Oversee offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and complete necessary procedures for compliance.
3. Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws.
- Manage employee insurance programs and conduct compensation reviews to maintain market competitiveness.
- Ensure timely tax filings and stay updated with regulatory changes.
4. Visa and Work Permit Management:
- Handle visa applications and renewals for employees.
- Provide strategic advice on visa-related matters and workforce mobility.
5. HR Policy Development:
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with local laws and company values.
- Educate employees and managers on policies to foster compliance and mutual respect.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of HR experience.
- Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, compensation and benefits, labour laws, tax compliance, and visa processes.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
