Position Overview:
A leading investment management firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its ETF Product team. Reporting to the VP of ETF Product, this role is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for ETFs, product development, and financial markets. The Senior Associate will contribute to every phase of the ETF product lifecycle, including strategy, development, launch, and post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth and development of the ETF product line through strategic planning, ideation, and support after product launches.
- Support the evolution of the ETF business across areas such as capital markets, operations, distribution, and marketing.
- Build and maintain expertise in investment strategies and market trends.
- Apply advanced knowledge of portfolio construction, strategy, and product positioning for various market scenarios and client use cases.
- Collaborate with Index Providers to shape product design and investment strategies.
- Create and implement frameworks to analyze the ETF market and competitive landscape, tracking industry trends, product innovation, liquidity, and regulatory changes.
- Analyze and report on key ETF metrics, such as asset flows, trading volumes, and market trends.
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all product development processes meet regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
- Manage the product pipeline calendar, monitor progress against goals, address roadblocks, and keep stakeholders informed of developments.
- Use strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in investment management, product development, or related fields.
- Background working with ETF issuers, fund managers, or index providers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the ETF marketplace, including primary markets, product trends, and regulatory landscape.
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, and investment strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as digital assets and blockchain is a bonus.
- Proficiency with large data sets and tools like Bloomberg is preferred.
